Alex Breingan is the big cheese of Stripe Studios, and has over two decades of TV and radio experience both in New Zealand and his native UK.
Alex is the creator and Executive Producer of over a dozen TV series across the primetime schedules of all the major NZ TV Networks and has 2 series licenced worldwide to Netflix. Alex Breingan is a finals judge for The EMMYS.
He began his career in the mid-90s in UK commercial radio, and later as a producer at the BBC working with Jools Holland, before moving to NZ in 2002.
Rachel has 22+ years of media experience in TV and radio, including as a journalist, reporter, presenter, and producer. She spent 10 years working for Mediaworks at TV3 and Radio, as a TV Reporter and Foreign Producer for 3News, and radio newsreader across many stations.
She now works as a producer for Stripe Studios, and presents cooking segments under her alias the ‘One Handed Baker’ on The Cafe. Previously Rachel was Senior Producer for The Cafe’s launch, and helped launch Choice TV. In London, Rachel read the news to a live audience of two million, and has an Honours degree in Journalism.
Alex Gilbert runs post production for a number of Stripe Studio’s formats and has been part of the Stripe Studios team since the beginning. Alex is also the host of Stripe’s upcoming TVNZ1 documentary series “Reunited” which is currently being filmed across New Zealand, The USA and Russia.
Jemimah is a production assistant, working on a number of up and coming shows including The Bach that JK Built, and NZ truckers. Previously attending the New Zealand Broadcasting school, Jemimah has experience in editing, animation, and videography. Alongside Isabella, she is an AFM and social media manager for The Cafe.
A graduate of the New Zealand Broadcasting School in Christchurch, Isabella is the Assistant Floor Manager on Stripe Studio’s mid-morning show; The Café and a production assistant working across all of the companies formats.
Justin Brown is a bestselling author, TV producer and creative director. A former breakfast host at The Hits radio station and TVNZ Breakfast as well as writer and producer for TV and stage. In 2018 The New Zealand Herald named him ‘one of New Zealand’s most high-profile creatives.
Hamish Dodd is one of New Zealand’s most experienced TV people. As a presenter, Hamish has hosted countless TV series including 8 seasons of My House MY Castle for TVNZ, 4 seasons of The Café for THREE and 2 seasons of The 100 Day Home which has been licenced worldwide on Netflix, a format that he is also credited at a Creator and Producer.
As a Producer, Hamish is currently midway through a major primetime home series starring one of New Zealand’s biggest stars, former All Black Rugby player, Sir John Kirwan.
Glen has over 20 years of experience in TV as a studio and field director. His credits include the smash hits, Masterchef and My Kitchen Rules. Glen is currently leading production on Stripe Studio’s format ‘Reunited’ – a primetime series for TVNZ1.
